Il Pastaio started out in 1983, a small family-run company in Villafranca, near Verona and Lake Garda.
Production was carried out on a small scale and sales were limited to the local area.
In 2019 we have introduced in the production dept the D line, for filled pasta. We have increased to 3,500 tons per year the laminated capacity. We reached 21,000 tons per year. We have a new warehouse in via Spagna for stocking packaging material.
From a small, local business to a production plant.
From a daily production of a few tonnes of pasta to 20 tonnes. A huge step forward.
New technology, new recipes. But love and attention to detail remain a core value.
The number of productions lines grows to 4. 30 different types of products and all
of them certified: from the dough to the production process.
Armando De Angelis’ pasta becomes “the pasta that everyone loves”.
Acquisition of the 4th production plant in Padova, with 2 lines of production, of filled bronze drawn pasta. Capacity/Year 2,000 tons. Implementation of a line of filled pasta in Via Olanda (september 2021). Capacity 2,000 tons. Target 2022: Total Capacity 27,500 tons:
In 2012 a second production plant is opened and the production lines are now 9.
New ranges are launched: Gluten Free, Vegan and Organic in
line with a sense of wellbeing that customers desire.
Over 10,000 tons are produced annually.
Armando De Angelis becomes Fresh Pasta De Angelis and with this
a new placement on the market, our payoff “Creative Soul”
captures the essence of our rebranding.
A new creative laboratory is founded and focus is placed on research.
