HISTORY


1980

Il Pastaio started out in 1983, a small family-run company in Villafranca, near Verona and Lake Garda.
Production was carried out on a small scale and sales were limited to the local area.

2020

We have chosen to concretely support our employees and their families, the Sacro Cuore Hospital in Negrar, the Civil Protection of Verona and Chef Carlo Cracco working alongside numerous workers to build the anti-Covid-19 hospital shelters.

1990

From a small, local business to a production plant. A huge step forward. 

New technology, new recipes. But love and attention to detail remain a core value.

2021

The “De Angelis Food Group” takes shape. A group of well-established companies, already present in the Food & Beverage market, with the common goal of offering the market fresh, genuine and certified products.

2000

The number of productions lines grows to 4. 30 different types of products and all of them certified: from the dough to the production process. Armando De Angelis’ pasta becomes “the pasta that everyone loves”.

2022

De Angelis Food Group presents itself with its brands at the two largest Italian trade fairs in the sector: Marca Bologna Fiere and Cibus, becoming the protagonist of a global event with an exhibition space of over 180 square metres.

2012

In 2012 a second production plant is opened and the production lines are now 9New ranges are launched: Gluten Free, Vegan and Organic in line with a sense of wellbeing that customers desire.

2018

Armando De Angelis becomes Fresh Pasta De Angelis and with this a new placement on the market, our payoff “Creative Soul
captures the essence of our rebranding. A new creative laboratory is founded and focus is placed on research. Our objectives: to satisfy our clients and consumers’ requests and to offer the highest customer service possible.
